I have added Fava Beans to my list of fast growing, good tasting, and nutritious foods that can be grown inexpensively indoors on a window sill.
They taste a little like pea shoots, but have a higher moisture content.
I put these in the Easy Sprout Sprouter and then went away for a few days, expecting them to be dead when I got back. But they are fine. A little leggy because the blinds were closed, of course. I sprouted them to plant outdoors, but due to a week or so of high winds and rain they are still in the house.
