A little bit of it anyway. The guy in the center photo must be the arboretum's official greeter, as he was quick to direct me to the entrance.
I had been concerned about parking, but we had no problem finding a handicapped spot in deep shade for my travel companion who is not as interested in botanical gardens as I think he should be. But he was content to sit in the car reading a book. He told me upon my return that the peacock wandered out into the parking lot and found him there, so he got to see the arboretum's main attraction without even getting out of the car.
I remembered to wear a sun hat, but should have taken a walking stick...again!
This park is big, so I didn't get to see all of it, but I did get far enough to see the cottage by what is usually a lake. On this occasion, however, the lake was dry (for renovations) and filled with a dozen or so water color artists doing their plein air thing. It was a nice day for it.
The map they hand you at the entrance is a little hard to follow, so I recommend figuring it out before getting lost. That is what I will do next time.
