This jalapeno grew from the AeroGrow seed kit and we left it on to see if it would turn red, but it turned this rich chocolately brown color instead.
The insert shows a bud and open flowers.
We ate this one's big brother while still green, and it was delicious. We were expecting this one to turn orange and then red, but we got a surprise. Presumably, it will turn red before long.
