It wasn't until after I went through weeks of agonizing research and decision making and finally settled on which android phone to get that I realized how many plays on words my new Samsung Moment is going to inspire.
It was not my idea to upgrade. Despite the fact that the first time I ever saw an android phone I let out a squeal of joy and nearly ripped it out of its owner's hands, the fact is I was waiting for one to come out with a 12 meg camera and designer color choices. But Sprint pulled the plug on my Helio Ocean when they bought the company that bought Helio. So lest I jump ship and go contract for two years with somebody else for my unlimited data plan, they did bend over backwards to try to be accommodating.
When push came to shove, choosing the Samsung Moment was pretty much a no-brainer, because the only other Google phone Sprint currently offers is HTC's Hero, which not only does not have a slider keyboard, but apparently does not have a lanyard ring.
It would seem that people who know what a lanyard ring is either love them or hate them. I consider them indispensable. I run a satin cord through lanyard ring on my cameras and phones and put an S-biner ring on the end:
With that I can secure it to the strap of a handbag, a keyring, the pull on a kitchen cabinet or just about anything. Mostly I hook it to the belt loop on my pants, so when I bend over and my camera or phone falls out of my pocket, it doesn't go very far.
