I took this photo coming down the Ortega Highway, approaching Lake Elsinore:
The sky is a little hazy, but no rain!
When I got home and looked at this picture I saw my shadow. Yep, that is me on the left, holding the camera. But who is that really big lopsided guy whose shadow is showing to the right? Maybe I have a huge guardian angel.
I am new to these parts and had never seen Lake Elsinore before, nor for that matter had I ever seen a lake the shape of a huge piece of toast.
I thought it would be fun to go down there and look around a bit. Well, surprise, the road home turns to the left and makes a 3/4 loup all the way around the lake. So here it is from the other side:

Hey Darlene, I wondered how you found this before I even got there myself, and then I remembered I shared it with Twitter. Awesome. TypePad has had this feature for some time but I never used it before. Thanks for stopping by!
