We stayed home. After something in the vicinity of forty lovely years together it is often good to do just that. Besides, I was puttering around with my second love, aeroponic gardening. It is hard to describe how frustrating it has been loving gardens and not being able to have one because of our fast-paced life, frequent traveling, and the fact that we live in upstairs condos. Not that I would trade, but one likes to have one's cake, or in this cakes, one's veggies, and eat them too. So along came AeroGrow corporation and the rest will be history.
A cyber friend writes a blog called "It Might Be Love" and she is having a sort of link-trading contest. I was going to blog about her anyway, because she is fun and interesting, but this seems like a good time because we won't have another anniversary for a whole year. Sob. Besides she is giving away EntreCard points. If you are a blogger, you may want to check out EntreCard. Chelle is the one who told me about that program. Here is her blog.
Hubby and I go on like Tracy and Hepburn in the movies most of the time. He's a pussy cat inside with a not so subtle exterior and I am pretty much the opposite. Ah, but I almost forgot, this is business, lol. If you have a blog and want to enter her contest, go here: For Bloggers
On the other hand, even those who don't have blogs have love stories. Some of them are scary. The guy who shares my love nest watches too many of those crime shows on TV, but you know after a while one starts to see patterns. I think people who watch this sort of thing also get the habit of double locking their doors...if they didn't do it before. Well, some of Chelle's articles are scary, too. Like this one: Are You for Sale?
Egads, I'm not. There is absolutely no way I would ever stage myself. What he sees is what he gets. But I think we were star crossed from the beginning and already staged on a higher platform. We didn't do any of that goofy adolescent smouldering stuff. We just knew pretty much at first glance that we had found something of value and decided to hang onto it.
Also, here is a short plug for a group called SocialCardsters. I haven't figured it all out yet, but the idea is that people who use both SocialSpark and EntreCard can benefit from working together. So here is their logo:
and here is a link: The Link and when I get a minute I'll come back and put them together. Here is another one I need to check out:
U Drop I Follow
Thanks for entering the contest! I am glad you will never forget my blog now that you have all these nice links on yours, lol. Congrats on your anniversary! My hubby watches those scary shows too, I don't know how he can stomach them! But my articles aren't really meant to scare anybody, lol. I think after 40 years you are right that no staging is necessary! Thank goodness!
