Whenever somebody says you cannot do something, I want to run not walk to prove them wrong, but some things just do take a little time. Here is a case in point. Someone doubted that I could grow eggplant in the Aerogarden, so my fingers did the hiking over to AeroGarden Growers Community Forum where another member describes the beauty and edibility of her cute and prolific mini-eggplants saying they are the size of walnuts and taste really good.
The words she paints them with would make a hardened eggplant hater beg for a taste, but I adore eggplant, not only because it is brain food, but for the texture and flavor as well.
