If any food sprouts I am driven to plant it and see what we get. These New Year's babies came from a few garlic cloves I had peeled and put in the refrigerator in a small plastic bag.
When I got around to using them, they had all sprouted wonderful little roots, so I planted them lightly covered with soil.
This is what they looked like 4 days later.
