Morning Glories

They are mighty pretty, but they grow so vigorously they have been outlawed in Arizona and Arkansas.  For some reason most of my favorite plants are invasive or toxic or illegal...or some combination of the above. 

This is a wine bottle I found in the WalMart parking lot and it turned out to be the perfect cloning chamber for the cuttings my neighbor gave me to use in my first morning glory experiment.  No, I am not going to eat them!

I was going to just grow the blue ones outdoors, but then another neighbor gave me cuttings from her white ones.  Since morning glories are said to cross pollinate within a quarter mile of each other, I will keep the white ones indoors.  Here is a bloom from the first set of cuttings, with a detail showing a close-up of the center:
